The sixteenth triennial colloquium of the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Internationale pour l\u2019\u00e9tude du Th\u00e9\u00e2tre M\u00e9di\u00e9val will be held in Genova, Italy from July 8-13 2019, the length of the congress depending on\u00a0the number of papers.<\/p>\n

This is a general call for papers to be contributed to the conference.<\/p>\n

Following standard SITM guidelines, all accepted papers in their entirety will be published online several months before the Conference in order to give all participants ample time to read and prepare for discussion. Presentation of papers during the conference is limited to main points only, taking no more than 10 minutes each.<\/p>\n

There will be four general themes for the conference. The topics of the conference are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. costumes and stage decoration<\/li>\n
  2. manuscripts and early prints<\/li>\n
  3. sacre rappresentazioni<\/li>\n
  4. medieval theater and interaction, circulation and\u00a0cultural\/religious exchanges in the Mediterranean region.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please indicate as soon as possible whether you intend to attend the conference and which theme your paper will address.<\/p>\n

    The deadline for submitting your paper title is December 31, 2017<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    All papers must be submitted by March 31, 2019<\/strong> in order to be mounted on the website<\/p>\n
